As per MoU’s clause 1.1, M/s NLDSL and CWC were entrusted to jointly study on the development of transportation module for digitizing end to end logistics process of CWC through ULIP. Indian Customs recently has engaged M/s BSNL as there connectivity partner to provide connectivity in order to access the ICEGATE portal of Indian Customs. At various locations of Corporation, Indian Customs officials are stationed to attend the work of that particular centre. Thus, Indian Customs has mandated all custodians in India to leverage the MPLS connectivity from M/s BSNL only and therefore, due to mandatory requirement of Indian Customs & to ensure un-hampered operations at EXIM sites.
